Cookie and Tracking Policy

1. The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies and no social media pixels. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad network, no data broker tag. We do not build a profile of you and we do not follow you to other sites.

Umami is cookieless by design. It does not assign a persistent visitor identifier, and the visit count is derived from a rotating hash that cannot be used to re-identify you or track you across days.
🔴 One honest limitation. Umami is loaded from a separate analytics domain, not from this site's own path. That means some ad-blocking and privacy extensions will block it, and our numbers will under-count. We accept that under-count rather than disguise the script to evade blockers.
3. Consent
Because we use no advertising or cross-site tracking technology, and our analytics sets nothing on your device, we do not require or display a consent banner.
What would change this. If we ever add an ad pixel, a remarketing tag, an embedded video or map that sets third-party cookies, a chat widget, or a heat-mapping tool, a consent mechanism becomes mandatory. We will update this policy and the Privacy Policy before such a tool ships, not after.
4. Embedded content
We do not currently embed third-party video, maps, fonts loaded from a third party, chat widgets or social widgets. Any of those would load resources from another operator, which could set its own cookies, outside our control.
5. How to control what we collect
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): honoured. See US State Privacy Notice and Rights Requests §6.
- Browser controls: you may block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. Since we set essentially none, this will not degrade the site.
- Blocking analytics: block the analytics domain in your browser or extension. The site functions identically.
- Do Not Track: we do not track across sites, so a DNT signal changes nothing about our behaviour.
6. Changes
We date every version. If we add any technology that stores data on your device or that tracks you across sites, we will update this policy and obtain consent before it goes live.
