1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the public website. By using the site you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any rule that applies to a specific feature you use.
If you engage us for services, the Education Consulting Services Agreement and the signed Service Order govern that engagement and prevail over these Terms as to its subject matter.
Order of precedence, highest first: (a) a signed Services Agreement; (b) a signed Service Order or Change Order; (c) the Payment, Billing and Refund Policy; (d) the feature-specific policies (Academic Integrity, Minors and Guardian Consent, Acceptable Use); (e) these Terms of Use.
2. Who may use the site
The site is directed to parents and legal guardians considering United States undergraduate pathways for their children, and to the students they are responsible for.
The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where a student is a minor, all enquiry submission, account creation, contracting and payment must be done by a parent or legal guardian. See the Minors and Guardian Consent Policy.
You may use the site only if you are able to form a binding contract, or are acting under the authority of someone who can.
3. Nature of the site — information, not advice, and no guarantee of outcome
VeyJet provides education pathway assessment, long-term growth planning, project mentorship and application-season advisory services. We are an independent advisory firm.
We are not, and we do not hold ourselves out as being: a school, a university, an agent or representative of any school or university, an admissions office, an immigration or visa adviser, a licensed attorney, a physician, a psychologist, a tax adviser or an investment adviser.
Everything on this site is general information. It is not an assessment of, or advice to, any individual student. Nothing on this site constitutes:
- a prediction or guarantee of admission, scholarship, financial aid, ranking, competition result, research or internship placement, or visa outcome;
- a representation that we have influence over any admissions decision; or
- an offer capable of acceptance. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract; it is a request that we may accept or decline.
🔴 We do not, in any tier, through any channel, in writing or orally, guarantee an educational outcome. If anyone acting for us tells you otherwise, that statement is unauthorised and we ask you to report it to support@infini-nova.com. See the Service Scope and No-Guarantee Statement.
4. Academic integrity — what we will not do
We will not, and we will not accept an instruction to: write or substantially rewrite a student's application essay, personal statement, supplement, résumé or scholarship essay; complete a student's coursework, research, experiment, prototype, code, data analysis, poster or competition submission; fabricate or alter data, activities, credentials or recommendations; purchase a place, an award or a result; impersonate a student on any platform; or circumvent the rules of any school, competition or application platform.
Requesting any of the above is a material breach of these Terms and of any engagement. See the Academic Integrity and Student Original Work Policy.
5. Prices and content shown on the site
Prices shown on the site are indicative ranges for planning purposes. Where a range is shown in Chinese yuan, it is a reference figure only: fees are charged by InfiniNova Limited (Hong Kong) in US dollars, or in Hong Kong dollars where your Service Order says so. The amount you will actually be charged is shown before you pay. A binding price exists only in a signed Service Order. See the Payment, Billing and Refund Policy §2.
Mentor profiles, case studies and outcome statements are published under the rules in the Service Scope and No-Guarantee Statement §5. Case studies carry a source label (mentor's prior history / network story / STEM project / corporate case) and a mentor's prior student is not a VeyJet client outcome. Do not read one as the other.
6. Your submissions
You retain all rights in what you submit — enquiry details, documents, transcripts, drafts, project files. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them only to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services and operate and secure the site.
We do not use your submissions, or any student material, to train machine-learning models, and we do not license them to any third party for that purpose.
You must have the right to submit what you submit, and it must be accurate. Do not submit government ID, passport scans, full financial account numbers, health or diagnostic records, or credentials for any school, competition or application platform. If a service genuinely requires such material we will tell you separately, in writing, why, what minimum is needed, how long it is kept and how it is protected.
7. Our content and intellectual property
The text, design, brand names, logos, frameworks, roadmaps, templates, assessment instruments and knowledge-centre articles on this site are protected by intellectual property law and remain ours or our licensors'. You may read, print and share them for your own non-commercial evaluation. You may not copy, adapt, bulk-download, scrape, resell, publish or use them to build or train a competing service without our written permission.
"VeyJet", "巍杰致远", "Infininova", "星天域" and our logo are our trade marks.
8. Third-party sites, programmes and providers
We link to and may help you evaluate third-party schools, competitions, summer programmes, research platforms, testing bodies and application systems. They are operated independently. We do not control their content, eligibility rules, fees, deadlines, decisions, refunds or performance, and we are not responsible for them. Always rely on the operator's own current official rules.
9. Availability and accuracy
We maintain the site with reasonable care but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete and current at every moment. Deadlines, test dates, competition rules and admission requirements change. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site.
10. Prohibited conduct
Do not: use the site unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access or probe, scan or test its security; scrape or use automated means to extract content; submit malware; impersonate any person; submit another person's information without authority; interfere with other users; or use the site to solicit the conduct prohibited in §4.
We may restrict or terminate access for breach. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in respect of the site itself.
This does not affect: the standard of care we owe under a signed Services Agreement; any warranty or condition that cannot lawfully be excluded; or your non-waivable rights as a consumer.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from the independent decision of any school, university, competition, testing body or platform, or from your failure to act on information given to you in time.
Our aggregate liability arising out of your use of this site (as distinct from a signed engagement, which is capped under the Services Agreement §11) is limited to USD 100.
These limits do not apply to: fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; wilful misconduct; death or personal injury caused by negligence; or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusion applies only so far as that jurisdiction permits.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the site, your submission of material you had no right to submit, or your breach of §4 or §10 — except to the extent the claim arises from our own breach, negligence or wilful misconduct. This clause does not apply to a minor, and does not limit any right a minor holds by law.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, write to legal-privacy-ofac@infini-nova.com with: identification of the work; identification of the material and its URL; your contact details; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act; and your signature. We will investigate and remove or disable infringing material where appropriate, and we terminate repeat infringers' access.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. A material change takes effect no earlier than 14 days after we post it, and we will date the new version and describe what changed. Changes are not retroactive and do not affect a signed engagement, which changes only by written agreement. We do not claim a right to amend with immediate effect, and we do not claim a right of final interpretation.
16. Governing law, language and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are resolved as follows: the parties first negotiate in good faith for 15 days; failing that, the dispute is referred to arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under its rules in force at the time, with the seat in Hong Kong, the language English, and one arbitrator. The award is final. Either party may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for interim or protective relief without waiving this clause.
This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law of the place where you habitually reside, including in the United States, Canada and mainland China, and does not deprive you of access to a court in that place where that law so provides.
The English text governs in the event of a conflict with the Chinese text, consistent with §16 of the Services Agreement. The Chinese text is provided so the terms can be read. Mandatory local law prevails where it requires otherwise.
